Yabooka Genna Genna also known as Washington Tsonga is a dancehall artist from Lilongwe who was born in 1996.
He is the first born in a family of 4 (two sisters and a brother and their names are Slyvia Tsonga, Fiona Tsonga and Fortune Tsonga).
He started his music career in 2014 after being motivated by his friends J Lyne and Kenz B and he had his first track called Yesu ndi Dhilu.
He went idle in music due to some circumstances after dropping his first single Yesu ndi dhilu then resurfaced in 2017 after linking up with Taycee and Dj Troper who were working at Major C records.
He released hit tracks like Star Buoy, Baddest and Major dancehall cypher before he got signed by Major Our Place (M.O.P) record label in 2018 and released songs like Wamatama (Piksy’s Umakwana cover), Ghetto yute, Badness, Top League and many others.
He grew up listening to San B, Atumwi, Anne Matumbi locally and loved Govana, Aidonia, Tommy Lee.
