Andrew Pilliot is a Malawian artist focused in composing poems who hails from Mabuka Village in Mulanje but currently he is staying in Mozambique.
He started composing poems when he was at primary school for the reason that his mother liked listening to poems a lot.
In 2013 he started composing the poems and turned really serious in March 2014 that is when he first incited a poem in public and that was during a church youth service.
With the feedback he acquired form his first incited poem, Andrew was motivated and was furious enough up to a point he partnered with Mulanje mountain conservation trust under Mbaula project, to incite poems encouraging people to use modern charcoal burners.
In 2018 he started recording his poems and his first POEM was Akubwera, then Kodi Mulipo poesms which enjoyed massive airplays on Liwu Lachiyembekezo radio station.
In 2019 he recorded Mkazi Wa Kutaoni and by December 2020 Andrew is aiming at coming up with a full poems album.
His main goal is to become a big artist in composing poems.
